Job Description
Our client, a book manufacturer in Auburn Hills, is seeking a general laborer for their bindery department. This is a full-time position with the potential to turn into a direct role. 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:30AM-3:30PM. $16 per hour. Apply Now! Position Overview This position requires you to assist current bindery staff in the areas of binder folding, saddle stitching, perfect binding, shrink wrapping, carton packing and other duties as assigned by supervisor. Monday – Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm. $16/hr.
- Lifting small 12 x 10 x 10 boxes of books and putting them on a pallet.
- Must be able to lift to 40 lbs. (usually 20 to 30 lbs.). up to 10-50 times a day depending on the task
- This is a standing position
- Team oriented
- Attention to detail
- Works well with others
- Good communication skills
- Follows direction for each task
- Some manufacturing experience required.
