We are currently seeking a Bindery Operator for our 2nd Shift team. No previous bindery experience is required we provide on-the-job training!

Position Summary

As a Bindery Operator, you will be responsible for operating finishing equipment to ensure high-quality printed materials are completed accurately and on time. You'll work with a variety of bindery equipment and play an important role in delivering finished products that exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Operate bindery equipment while following all safety, quality, and production standards.

• Set up machines according to job specifications and production requirements.

• Read and interpret job tickets to ensure accuracy throughout the production process.

• Operate equipment efficiently to meet productivity and quality goals.

• Perform finishing processes such as:

  • Cutting

  • Folding

  • Die cutting

  • Saddle stitching

  • Drilling

  • Padding

  • Scoring

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.

• Assist with additional production duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous bindery or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

• Basic math skills, including decimals and metric measurements.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

• Dependable with excellent attendance and a positive attitude.

• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
