Biohazard Remediation TechnicianLocation: Omaha & Lincoln AreaPay: $19 24/hourSchedule: Flexibl | On-Call | Evenings & Weekends as NeededA growing remediation company is seeking dependable and professional Biohazard Remediation Technicians to join their field-based team. This role involves traveling to trauma, crime scene and hazardous material sites to safely clean, remediate and restore affected areas while providing compassionate service to clients during difficult situations.Key Responsibilities: Respond to emergency trauma and biohazard cleanup calls Travel to job sites throughout the region for on-site remediation work Clean and disinfect areas impacted by bloodborne pathogens and hazardous materials Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous waste according to regulations Use specialized cleaning equipment and PPE to complete remediation projects Document job progress and communicate updates with management and clients Maintain safety standards and follow all company protocols Provide respectful, discreet and compassionate customer serviceQualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred Previous remediation, restoration, cleaning or related experience helpful Strong attention to detail and ability to work in sensitive environments Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites Comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) Certifications are a plus but not requiredPhysical Requirements: Lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance Ability to work in confined spaces and at ceiling heights Ability to stand, bend, kneel and work in physically demanding environments Comfortable working around cleaning chemicals and hazardous materialsBenefits & Perks: Competitive hourly pay based on experience Hands-on, meaningful work helping people in difficult situations Training opportunities and career growth potential Team-oriented environment with supportive leadershipIf you re dependable, detail-oriented and ready for a hands-on career that makes a difference, apply today!#gethiredomaha
