Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business development and revenue growth forGuardant Health’sRWD platform through strategic sales planning and execution.

  • Identifyand cultivate relationships with BioPharma and biotechnology clients to uncover data-driven collaboration opportunities.

  • Developand execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets, owning andexceedingquarterly and annual revenue targets forthe RWDproducts

  • Track and report on pipeline development, conversion rates, and client engagement metrics.

  • Partner cross-functionallywith internal stakeholders including BioPharma, Medical Affairs, Bioinformatics, IT, and Product teams to design and deliver tailored RWD solutions.

  • Lead the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract execution and long-term account management.

  • Represent Guardant Health’s Data and AI capabilities to external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with client needs and scientificobjectives.

  • Contribute to the overall strategy for RWD commercialization, market positioning, and customer engagement.

Qualifications

  • Proventrack recordof success in sales, business development, or client acquisition in the healthcare or life sciences industry.

  • Typically requires a university degree andgenerally 15years of related experience; 12 years and aMaster’sdegree; 8 years and a PhD; or 5 years and a PharmD/MD.

  • 10+ years of experience (or equivalent with below advanced degrees) in sales or business development roles, preferably with RWD, data analytics, or technology products, and have a passion for using data and technology to advance science and benefit patients. Ideally, you are familiar with BioPharma drug development.

  • Greatwritten and oralcommunications skills andarecomfortable working in a client-facing role.

  • Entrepreneurial, self-starting, and proactive, but alsoworkingwith the team to bring the best of the company to a customer.

  • Developed successfulcollaborations andbrought in repeat business from multiple customers.

  • Preferred Experience:

  • Experience selling real-world dataofferings toBioPharma, such asproducts,analytic solutions, andsoftware

  • Familiarity with oncology data,drug development,liquid biopsy, or clinical trial design.

  • Prior success in buildingenterprisedatapartnerships withBioPharma andbiotechnology clients 

  • Expectation toleverageourexistingnetwork across our BioPharma customer base, and beyond which you can access and call upon when needed.

  • Must be able to Travel 15-20%

Hybrid Work Model:This section is applicable to onsite employees who are eligible for hybrid work location as specified by management and related policies.  Guardant has defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We have found aligning our scheduled in-office days allows our teams to do the best work and creates the focused thinking time our innovative work requires. The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. This range does not include benefits or, if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, education, job-related skills, job duties, and business need. Primary Location: Palo Alto, CA Primary Location Base Pay Range: $218,300 - $300,200 Other US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $185,600 - $255,200 If the role is performed in Colorado, the pay range for this job is: $196,500 - $270,200

Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
