Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Blood Bank Supervisor to oversee our blood bank operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, manage staff, and optimize blood product management.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily blood bank operations.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, AABB, and state regulations.
- Train and mentor staff.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with donors and hospitals.
- Implement quality assurance measures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field.
- SBB ASCP certification required.
- Previous supervisory experience in a blood bank or similar setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
