Hiring for Machine Operators in Franklin, IN!
Pay: $21.50 Rotating schedule (12hour shift)
Job Summary: Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining injection molding machines to produce plastics parts parts that meet quality and production standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate injection molding machines according to production specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and adjust settings (temperature, pressure, cycle time) as needed.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Remove molded parts from machines and trim excess material as required.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major malfunctions to maintenance or supervisors.
- Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning molds and machines.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).
- Previous experience in injection molding or manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Basic understanding of machine operation and mechanical processes.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, blueprints, or production sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
