Job Description
Practice in a facility designed for specialized care, featuring low and high sensory rooms, dedicated observation areas, and a therapeutic milieu tailored to varying cognitive and functioning levels.
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) plays a vital role in our Specialized Needs Unit (SNU), leading the behavioral team in developing and implementing high-impact behavior treatment plans. You will conduct in-depth behavioral analyses, empower staff through procedure-based education, and provide essential training to families and caregivers. Additionally, you will ensure the highest standards of data integrity to drive superior patient care outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive Clinical Excellence: Deliver high-quality, measurable behavioral treatments that prioritize patient progress.
- Master Data Integrity: Design and oversee robust data collection systems, procedures, and feedback loops between direct care and clinical teams.
- Lead Assessments & Protocols: Develop, coordinate, and perform formal behavioral analyses and treatment protocols for all patients.
- Empower Care Teams: Model and teach behavior plans to staff and families, ensuring everyone is equipped to support the patient’s success.
- Collaborate & Consult: Partner with families to schedule and lead effective training sessions while consulting with other departments to improve overall patient care.
- Mentor RBTs: Provide consistent, high-quality supervision and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians.
- Schedule is Friday- Tuesday from 8:00am- 4:30pm.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, ABA, or a related field required.
- BCBA certification in good standing required.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience delivering high-quality behavior analysis and evidence-based treatments required.
- Ability to successfully work within multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead, teach, and inspire staff and families.
- Strong organizational skills and the critical thinking necessary to develop and deliver complex training programs.
