Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. As a BCBA, you will work with individuals with autism and provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to help improve their quality of life. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of kiddos and their families.
Duties:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine the individual's needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the principles of ABA
- Provide direct behavioral therapy to clients, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction
- Collaborate with caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistency in treatment goals
- Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of behavioral health
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Experience working with individuals with autism is required
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Familiarity with evaluation tools and assessments
- Proficient in medical terminology related to behavioral health
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients, caregivers, and other professionals
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to ethical guidelines
- Experience working with children is preferred
