Job Description

Veterans Engineering is looking for a highly skilled and Board-Certified Urology Surgeon to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide expert surgical care for veterans experiencing a variety of urological conditions. Your responsibilities will include performing complex urological procedures, offering preoperative and postoperative care, and collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive urology care and surgery, equivalent to a modern civilian medical facility
  • Clinical evaluations and consultations
  • Diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Minor and major urologic surgical procedures
  • On-call and call-back coverage as scheduled
  • Care delivered in accordance with VA standards and American Board of Urology guidelines

Requirements

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of a residency in Urology
  • Board Certified in Urology
  • Current and valid medical license to practice in the state
  • A minimum of 3 years of surgical experience in urology
  • Demonstrated proficiency in comprehensive urologic evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Ability to perform minor and major urologic surgical procedures consistent with current standards of care
  • Strong clinical judgment in managing complex urologic conditions in adult patients
  • Competence in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient management

Travel Requirements

Travel to client locations is required for this position and may vary based on project needs.
