Job Description
The Body Shop Parts Advisor is responsible for provide guidance and assistance on the selection and procurement of required parts per the manufacture guidelines.
Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient mannerInform customers of companion part requirements and specials, and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product lineAnswer phone calls, provide price quotes and other informationReview body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimatePull and fill orders from stockNotify body shop parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attentionLocate out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessaryNotify all necessary parties when special ordered parts have been receivedPull orders for delivery to the parts department, making sure all parts are tagged with customer names and job numberFollow up on back-ordered parts and replenishes assigned inventory dailyVerify will-call and back-order files weekly and returns to vendors, or stocks those items not picked up or requiredAssist outside sales representatives with their ordersMake sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orderExcellent communication and customer service skills, and able to maintain a professional image and demeanorAbility to multi-task in a fast paced environmentStrong computer & phone skills (Internet, MS Outlook) is a mustAbility to speak multiple languages is always a plusPrevious automotive parts experience or military equivalent experience preferredMust be able to pass pre-employment screen (background & drug test)
