Junior Boiler Inspector Position Type: Seasonal/Project BasedTravel Requirements: Must be able to travel to multiple statesSeasonal Schedule: Primarily Spring and Fall AssignmentsPosition Overview:We are seeking Junior Boiler inspectors to support inspection projects across multiple states. This is an entry-level, project-based position. Please note: Work will be anywhere from 1-6 weeks in the spring and/or fall. Weeks are not always consecutive. Work will require travel out of state for extended periods. Work is scheduled based on client demand and project needs.No prior inspection experience is required. Training will be provided.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior inspectors with boiler and pressure vessel inspections
- Support documentation, reporting, and field data collection
- Prepare and maintain inspection tools and equipment
- Follow all company and client safety protocols
- Travel to job sites in various states as scheduled
- Maintain professional communication with team members and clients
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be 18 years of age
- Mechanical aptitude or interest in industrial equipment preferred
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively
- Ability to work in industrial environments (including heights, confined spaces, and varying weather conditions)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Industrial facilities including power plants, manufacturing facilities, refineries, and processing plants
- Physically active role requiring standing, climbing, and lifting
- Work may include extended hours during project assignments
- Project based assignments, typically 1-6 weeks
- Overtime after 40 hours
- Paid travel time and mileage
- Per Diem
