Ready to lead one of Roma's busiest bottle shops?
The Commonwealth Hotel Roma Bottle Shop is located right next door to the iconic Commonwealth Hotel, serving both locals and visitors with an extensive range of beer, wine and spirits through its popular retail and drive-thru offering. As the bottle shop prepares for an exciting rebrand, we're looking for a hands-on Retail Manager to lead the next chapter of its success.
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Australian Venue Co.'s regional venues, lead an established team and make your mark on one of Roma's highest-performing retail liquor businesses.

About the Role
Working closely with the Venue Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the bottle shop while driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service and developing a high-performing team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading daily retail operations
- Coaching and developing your team
- Driving sales, promotions and customer engagement
- Managing stock control, ordering and inventory
- Maintaining merchandising and store presentation
- Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing and safety requirements
- Delivering an outstanding customer experience
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous retail liquor, bottle shop or hospitality leadership experience
- Strong customer service and people leadership skills
- Experience managing stock and inventory
- A hands-on approach with excellent organisational skills
- A passion for retail and community engagement

- Forklift Licence
If you don't currently hold a Forklift Licence, don't worry-we're happy to support the right candidate with training and cover the cost of obtaining it.
RMLV and Approved Manager accreditation are advantageous but not essential.
