Box Truck Driver

Are you a dependable box truck driver who isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves in the warehouse? My Auto Store is looking for a hands-on Utility Worker who can handle deliveries during the day and jump in to support warehouse operations when needed. This role will be based out of our warehouse in West Deptford, NJ. This is a union role which pays $22.79/hr.

This is a split-role position. You will spend part of your time driving a 16-foot box truck delivering automotive parts, and the rest assisting with warehouse tasks like loading, unloading, and organization. If you enjoy variety, staying active, and being part of a hardworking team, this is the role for you.

What You'll Do

Driving & DeliveriesOperate a 16-foot box truck to deliver automotive parts to customersLoad and unload parts safely and securelyPerform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspectionsMaintain cleanliness and organization of the truckTrack deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and report any incidentsCommunicate with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, or issuesProvide professional, courteous customer service at delivery sitesNavigate local and congested roadways safely and efficientlyWarehouse SupportAssist with loading/unloading inbound and outbound shipmentsSupport shipping and receiving operationsHelp maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouseStep in wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly

What We're Looking For

Valid driver's licenseExperience driving a box truck or similar vehiclePrevious warehouse experience (shipping/receiving, inventory, loading, etc.)Strong understanding of safety procedures and cargo securementAbility to navigate local roads and use GPS systems confidentlyComfortable driving in highway and congested traffic conditionsReliable, punctual, and team-orientedFlexible with schedule when needed
