Job Description
Brake Press Operator
Location: Catoosa, OKShift: Day & Night Shifts AvailablePay: $20.00 – $23.00/hour + $1.00 Shift Differential
Position Summary
HireCall is seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join a growing fabrication team in Tulsa. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating brake press equipment to form sheet metal components while maintaining high-quality standards and safety practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CNC and conventional brake presses
- Form sheet metal parts to meet precise specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and bills of material
- Perform quality inspections using tools such as calipers, tape measures, and protractors
- Maintain accurate production records, including output, scrap, and rework
- Ensure all parts meet dimensional and cosmetic requirements
- Communicate any quality or production issues to supervisors promptly
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Assist with document updates and process improvements as needed
- Perform additional fabrication tasks and duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience programming and operating CNC brake presses with minimal supervision
- Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Ability to use inspection tools (calipers, tape measure, protractor, etc.)
- Experience with additional fabrication equipment preferred (drill press, chop saw, grinders, buffers, Strippit, Timesaver)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
