Brand Ambassador (Fitness, Athletic, Human Movement Knowledge Required)

Dephy is looking for a Brand Ambassador who is passionate about helping people and excited to share knowledge about how the human body moves. We're looking for someone who enjoys connecting with others and creating exceptional customer experiences. Curiosity, empathy, and strong communication skills are essential, as you'll help customers understand and get the most out of cutting-edge wearable robotics while serving as a trusted representative of the Dephy brand. 

This is a temporary role (4 weeks) located at our Burlington Mall location. There may be opportunities for extension based on performance and booth results.

Description of Role

As a Brand Ambassador on Dephy's Marketing team, you'll be the first point of contact for customers visiting our Burlington Mall location. You'll spark conversations, educate customers about the science behind the Sidekick ankle exoskeleton, and demonstrate how it supports natural movement. Through hands-on product demonstrations and exceptional customer service, you'll help customers experience the benefits of wearable robotics firsthand while representing the Dephy brand with enthusiasm and professionalism. 

The ideal candidate has knowledge of human movement and the gait cycle, paired with experience in customer service or customer-facing roles. They are energetic, outgoing, and confident in initiating conversations with customers. As the face of Dephy, they will build meaningful connections, educate customers about our technology, and provide an engaging, high-quality brand experience.  

This is not a medical role, and the candidate will need to be comfortable discussing the benefits of general wellness products while being clear that our products do not offer any medical treatment.

Requirements

Required Qualifications 

• Be a good human - get along with the team, build strong working relationships, and execute on Dephy’s Values.
• Passion for health, fitness, human performance, or wearable technology.
• Background in kinesiology, exercise science, athletic training, physical therapy, personal training, group fitness instruction, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of human movement and the gait cycle gained through fitness training, education, or related experience. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, approachable way.
• Outgoing, confident, and comfortable initiating conversations with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to conduct engaging product demonstrations and adapt presentations to different audiences.
• Comfortable learning and becoming an expert on innovative technology and sharing that knowledge with others.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while representing the brand professionally.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and interacting with customers for extended periods throughout the day.
• Expert at using technology such as tablets, mobile apps, or point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Track customer interactions, product demonstrations, and customer feedback, and regularly report insights and trends to the Marketing team.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Desired schedule with some flexibility available:
• Sunday: 11:00-6:00
• Wednesday: 5:00-8:00
• Thursday: 5:00-8:00
• Friday: 5:00-9:00
• Saturday: 10:00-6:00

Desired Qualifications

• Customer service, retail, hospitality, or sales experience with a focus on creating exceptional customer experiences.
• Support social media creation to enhance Dephy’s brand.
