Description

Why Bogus Basin?

Bogus Basin is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit mountain recreation area located 16 miles from Boise. We provide accessible, affordable outdoor recreation, education, and community programming year-round. Every dollar earned is reinvested back into the mountain, our people, and the community we serve.

The Brush Cutter supports vegetation management, trail access, water system access, fire mitigation, and general mountain maintenance by clearing brush, weeds, limbs, and overgrowth across Bogus Basin's recreation and operations areas.

This physically demanding role uses hand tools and powered brush-cutting equipment in steep, uneven, and rugged terrain. Ideal candidates are safety-minded, reliable, comfortable working outdoors, and prepared for repetitive manual labor in a mountain environment.
