The Fiscal Section Supervisor works to support and implement the Department's mission to protect, sustain, and improve a clean and healthful environment to benefit present and future generations, the Section Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the section. The Fiscal Section Supervisor oversees division-wide fiscal operations supporting the division's programs and activities to ensure they are carried out at the lowest practical cost.

Bachelor's degree required in accounting, business administration, or a related field that includes direct experience in accounting or management.
Education or experience in a related field preferred.
Three (3) or more years of progressively responsible accounting or budgeting, or directly related experience.
Demonstrated experience in leading people is required, although this may be from roles other than formal supervisory experience.
Experience in government accounting and budgeting is preferred (including Statewide Accounting, Budgeting, and Human Resources System (SABHRS) and IBARS).
Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
