Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Full-Time Building Code Inspector to join our Building Code Services team. This position plays a key role in ensuring compliance with Connecticut State Building Codes and local regulations through field inspections of residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction or code enforcement, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Duties

Conduct on-site inspections of residential and commercial projects to verify compliance with applicable Connecticut State Building Codes and local ordinances.
Document inspection results and prepare clear, concise reports for project records.
Communicate findings and code requirements to contractors, design professionals, and municipal officials. Identify code violations and provide guidance on corrective actions.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with clients and project stakeholders.
Coordinate with internal team members to support project schedules and deliverables.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
