Job Description
Title: Maintenance Technician Bill Rate: 22-23/HR Hours: M-F 7am - 3:30pm with potential for some on-call work after initial training period Location: 1055 West Highway 34, Aurora Overview of Work Environment/Client Nuances:- 500,000 sq. feet of production space and warehouse- Candidate will need to be comfortable working from heights - scissor lift/fork lifts- Client facing role Team Overview: Some independent work, some work as a team based on safety requirements Resource's typical working day: Facility work only Overhead doors Dock doors FLS PM's- Fire life safety Overhead lights Minor plumbing Light carpentryMust Have Skills: Electrical troubleshooting experience Mechanical experience- Specifically overhead doors Candidate will need to be able to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs each dayNice to have skills: 480 volt experience Food safety experience Hydraulic experience Soft Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills Willingness to learn Years of Experience: 1-2+ years Education: H.S. diploma or GED required, Trade school preferred or equivalent experience Software skills: Basic computer skills Basic phone app skills Interview Process: Parking notes: 1 round in-person with H.M, including a site tour About the Role: As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
