Buildings & Grounds Maintenance Worker

The Berry Companies owns and manages housing and lodging for the Mt. Washington Valley, including homes, condominiums, apartments, hotel rooms, suites, and vacation rentals. We are now recruiting a reliable and diligent Buildings & Grounds Maintenance Team Member to join our team to ensure our guests receive the highest quality facilities, accommodations, and amenities at our resorts.As a Buildings & Grounds Maintenance Team Worker, you will:Perform landscaping and general property upkeep

General Maintenance needs as assigned

Perform snow removal/shoveling of walkways and roofs

Perform preventative maintenance for HVAC, pool components

Plumbing needs as assigned

Painting needs as assigned

Trouble shooting maintenance problems

General labor - cleaning pools and related areas, building supplies, etc.Travel between buildings on and off property as necessary Basic carpentry and other building related skills

Other tasks as assigned

General maintenance needs as assigned

Follow up with other departments on the status of the repairs.Must work in a clean professional manner.What We Expect From You:Ability to follow instructions from supervisor or senior maintenance workers

Knowledge of general carpentry and repair

Time management and organizational skills

Pool chemistry knowledge

Mechanical aptitude

Good Verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently

Must have a valid driver's license

Must be available weekdays and/or weekends

Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces
