Burn Table OperatorPay:$23.00 $24.00 per hour DOELocation:Catoosa, OKShift:5:00 AM 3:30 PMJob Order #:140900Position OverviewStand-By Personnel is hiring an experienced Burn Table Operator for a manufacturing facility in Catoosa, OK. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC plasma and oxy-fuel cutting equipment to cut metal materials according to blueprints, specifications, and production requirements.The Burn Table Operator will help ensure parts are produced accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and equipment operation.Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC burn tables, plasma cutters, and oxy-fuel cutting equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, work orders, and production specifications.
- Load, position, and secure metal plates and other materials for cutting.
- Monitor cutting operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and quality.
- Inspect finished parts for compliance with required dimensions, specifications, and tolerances.
- Remove slag and clean cut parts before sending materials to the next production process.
- Use measuring tools including tape measures, squares, calipers, and gauges.
- Perform routine machine inspections and basic maintenance.
- Report equipment problems or maintenance concerns to supervision.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
- Follow company safety procedures and applicable OSHA requirements.
- Assist with material handling and other production duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience operating CNC plasma, oxy-fuel cutting, burn table, or similar CNC equipment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production drawings.
- Basic computer skills for operating CNC machine controls.
- Ability to use common measuring tools accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work safely in an industrial manufacturing environment.
