Job Description
Essential Job Functions:
Bus Driving:
- Safe Transportation: Drive school buses to transport students over scheduled routes and/or special excursions.
- Safety and Discipline: Enforce rules, regulations, and laws to maintain safety during transport, and maintain order and discipline among passengers.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition, fuel the bus, and report mechanical malfunctions or other problems.
- Route Management: Follow assigned bus routes and schedules and notify the supervisor of any necessary changes.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with students and school staff.
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies, including evacuations and administering first aid if needed.
Light Janitorial:
- Cleaning: Duties include routine cleaning, mopping, sweeping, dusting and other responsibilities as needed.
- Maintenance: Perform minor repairs and report larger maintenance needs.
- Supplies: Maintain stock of necessary supplies.
- Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and proper use of cleaning materials.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to follow instructions
- Must clear State required background check.
Job Types: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
