Business Analyst – Regulatory & Compliance
Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)$57–$61/hour | 12-Month Contract (Potential Extension up to 24 Months)
Join a leading financial services organization as a Business Analyst supporting high-impact regulatory and compliance initiatives within a fast-paced corporate banking environment. This role is ideal for an experienced Business Analyst who enjoys solving complex business problems, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, and translating regulatory requirements into actionable business solutions.
This is a true Business Analyst position focused on business operations and compliance—not project management.
What You'll Do
- Analyze regulatory and compliance requirements to determine business impact
- Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements
- Partner with compliance, legal, operations, technology, and business teams to drive regulatory initiatives
- Interpret complex regulations and translate them into clear business requirements
- Support regulatory reporting, business process analysis, and data analysis efforts
- Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies while recommending practical solutions
- Work independently while managing multiple priorities and stakeholder relationships
- Ensure deliverables meet established timelines and quality expectations
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in banking or financial services
- Strong experience supporting regulatory, compliance, risk, or operational initiatives
- Knowledge of banking operations and financial markets
- Experience gathering business requirements and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) or similar business lines
- Background working on enterprise regulatory or compliance programs
- Familiarity with U.S. or global financial regulations
- Experience supporting regulatory reporting initiatives
Contract Details
- Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
- Duration: 12-month contract with potential extension up to 24 months
- Interview Process: One 30-minute Microsoft Teams interview
- Start Date: ASAP
