Compensation: $130,000 - $140,000 annually + Signing Bonus

San Francisco Post Acute is seeking an experienced, energetic, and relationship-driven Business Development & Marketing Liaison to help expand our referral network and grow facility census. We are looking for someone who can build strong partnerships, open doors, generate referrals, and serve as an ambassador for our skilled nursing and rehabilitation services throughout the healthcare community.

Position Overview

The Business Development & Marketing Liaison will be responsible for developing and maintaining referral relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, discharge planners, medical groups, managed care organizations, assisted living communities, and other healthcare partners. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills, strong follow-through, and a proven ability to grow admissions through strategic outreach and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with hospitals, physicians, medical groups, discharge planners, case managers, and community partners.
  • Generate and maintain a steady pipeline of qualified referrals to support census growth.
  • Conduct regular visits to hospitals, physician offices, healthcare organizations, and referral sources throughout the market.
  • Promote San Francisco Post Acute's skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and post-acute care services.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase admissions and community awareness.
  • Coordinate facility tours and act as a primary point of contact for prospective referral partners.
  • Attend networking events, healthcare meetings, community events, and industry functions.
  • Collaborate closely with Admissions, Nursing, Rehabilitation, Social Services, and Leadership teams to ensure a seamless referral and admissions process.
  • Monitor referral activity, admissions trends, market conditions, and competitor activity.
  • Develop and implement marketing initiatives to strengthen the facility's presence in the healthcare community.
  • Maintain regular communication and follow-up with referral sources to build long-term partnerships.
  • Provide leadership with ongoing updates regarding referral performance, market opportunities, and census development goals.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in healthcare business development, marketing, admissions, community relations, or a related role required.
  • Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, post-acute care, hospital, home health, hospice, or senior care experience strongly preferred.
  • Established referral relationships within the healthcare community are highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of generating referrals and growing business opportunities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and networking skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional follow-up and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
  • Professional appearance and ability to represent the organization positively in the community.
  • Knowledge of healthcare terminology and post-acute referral processes preferred.
  • Ability to travel locally for meetings, networking events, and business development activities.
