Job Description
Business Development Lead Location: Lakewood Reports to: CEO / Head of Sales Compensation:$75k$100k base + 10% commission on net profit Role Overview Own customer opportunities end-to-end, from first conversation through execution or intentional close. This role focuses on turning unclear, non-standard customer requests into executed business through strong ownership, organization, and follow-through. Key Responsibilities Manage a high volume of customer opportunities from start to finish Clarify incomplete or ambiguous customer needs Create solutions when no obvious path exists Stay organized and always know next steps Research options and work cross-functionally to move deals forward Follow up consistently to prevent stalled opportunities Identify one-time vs. repeat vs. long-term customers Share insights to improve opportunity handling What Success Looks Like Strong control over many active opportunities Non-standard requests converted into real revenue Growth in repeat and wholesale relationships Trusted internally as someone who owns execution First 3 Months Take ownership of the full opportunity flow Execute both standard and non-standard deals Build a personal tracking system Convert opportunities into revenue Provide actionable feedback to improve focus Ideal Background & Traits Proven ability to manage volume without losing organization Comfortable with ambiguity and limited structure Strong ownership, follow-through, and communication Energized by problem-solving
