Business Development Manager Hospitality Staffing & Facility ServicesOur client is hiring Business Development Managers to join a National Sales Team. This is a new-business (hunter) role selling staffing and facility services solutions into hotels and hospitality organizations, with heavy emphasis on C-suite selling, financial acumen, and complex/RFP-driven sales cycles.Location: Flexible (U.S.); candidates primarily based in the Northeast may not be a fit due to limited operational coverage in that regionTravel: Travel in assigned marketsSchedule: Must be available to work outside standard business hours as needed (early/late shifts, weekends, holidays)Role Summary The Business Development Managers objective is to demonstrate the clients unique value to potential customers and provide staffing and facility services solutions that meet customer needs. Success requires strong C-suite/customer interaction, the ability to advocate within complex organizations, and the financial discipline to develop strategies that address gaps and pressures within a customers operating budget.What Youll Do (Essential Functions)New Business Development & Goal Attainment (80%)
- Drive the full sales process end-to-end: prospecting, discovery, solution development, proposals, negotiation, and close.
- Research, qualify, and develop a sales strategy and territory plan intended to secure sales at or above annual quotas.
- Build relationships and sell at all levels of the organization, with particular strength at the C-suite and financial decision-maker level.
- Maintain strong understanding of customer financial and operational outcomes; build strategies aligned to operating budgets.
- Lead and manage RFP/RFQ-driven cycles; develop persuasive written proposals and submissions.
- Conduct site walks/inspections as part of the sales process.
- Conduct market research and assess competitive landscape.
- Maintain impeccable CRM activity, notes, and forecasting.
- Coordinate in-market meetings and appointments with prospective customers.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding handoff of new business.
- Partner with the Contracts Manager to formalize contracted documents.
- Identify, qualify, and actively lead outsourcing services opportunities in partnership with division leadership.
- Advocate for referenceable customers across service value propositions.
- Meet and exceed KPIs and activity standards.
- Communicate pipeline stage changes regularly to sales leadership and team.
- Demonstrate cultural leadership, accountability, and values-based participation.
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience in the hospitality sector, selling products or services directly to hotels or related hospitality organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate a highly competitive, complex selling environment.
- Strong financial acumen (operating budgets, value justification, and financially-driven selling).
- Experience managing RFP-driven sales cycles and producing high-quality written proposals (RFPs, RFQs, contracts, customer communications).
- Comfortable presenting to groups and speaking to large audiences.
- Proactive prospecting ability, especially with financial decision-makers.
- Willingness to travel within the U.S. as required.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.
- High school diploma required.
- Fluency in English (Spanish bilingual is a plus).
- Strong listening, writing, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills; collaborative cross-functional partner.
- Adaptable and able to learn new software platforms/systems.
- Previous operational experience in hotel/hospitality on-site management (customer service, staffing, or service).
- Experience selling multi-year service contracts with annual values in the millions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (365), Adobe Suite, DocuSign; Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus.
