Position Overview:
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for converting post-appointment seller opportunities into signed contracts through disciplined follow-up, high-volume outbound communication, and structured offer management.
This is a metrics-driven sales role. Success requires daily outbound activity, strong objection handling, and consistent pipeline movement. The right candidate is comfortable managing a high call volume, maintaining structured follow-up, and owning measurable contract targets.
This seat directly impacts revenue and requires urgency, persistence, and accountability.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Create, present, and communicate seller offers based on acquisition team underwriting
- Execute structured follow-up across all assigned post-appointment opportunities
- Maintain high outbound call volume to advance active pipeline leads
- Drive conversations toward clear outcomes: contract signed, nurture, or disqualified
- Handle objections and negotiate directly with homeowners
- Maintain disciplined CRM documentation with real-time updates
- Monitor pipeline stagnation and proactively re-engage inactive opportunities
- Participate in acquisition meetings and strategy sessions
Ideal candidate experience and skill sets:
- 3+ years of inside sales experience with measurable quota achievement
- Comfortable operating in a high-volume outbound call environment
- Strong objection handling and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to manage structured follow-up without gaps
- Resilient under rejection and motivated by performance targets
- Highly organized with disciplined CRM usage
- Real estate investment or contract negotiation experience preferred

- Maintain consistent high outbound call volume within assigned pipeline
- Achieve defined weekly contract targets
- Maintain defined talk-time and connection-rate benchmarks
- Keep missed call rate within performance standards
- Reduce pipeline stagnation through proactive follow-up discipline
