Andover Forest Post Acute Care Center is seeking an experienced Business Office Manager to join our skilled nursing facility team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong billing, collections, and insurance coordination skills who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee billing, collections, and resident account management
- Review financial documentation for Medicaid applications
- Meet with residents and families regarding financial obligations and payment arrangements
- Monitor monthly aging reports and collections activity
- Coordinate insurance authorizations, claims follow-up, and appeals
- Execute admissions agreements and maintain accurate financial records
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Experience in billing, collections, or business office operations preferred
- Long-term care / skilled nursing experience is a plus, but not required
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care reimbursement preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Accounting or finance coursework is helpful, but not required
