Job Description

Farmers Insurance is looking for entrepreneurial-minded, sales-driven professionals to join our dynamic team. We offer a unique opportunity for individuals who want to step into a business ownership role where they have holding over their book of business and can oversee the day-to-day operations of their agency. As a Farmers Insurance Agent, you will be empowered to grow your own business while maintaining a healthy work-life balance and striving to meet sales metrics. With three distinct paths to successbuilding, buying, or shadowingwe provide the resources and flexibility to help you take the next step in your career. Candidates will receive comprehensive training, including insurance knowledge and agency operations, and be supported in obtaining their L&H and P&C licenses.

Salary Range: $85000.00 - $120000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Build and manage your own book of business and oversee the agencys daily operations

Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics to grow your business

Develop relationships with clients, providing personalized insurance solutions

Participate in continuous learning to stay updated on industry trends and products

Manage administrative tasks related to running your business, including client communication, policy updates, and claims handling

Collaborate with Farmers Insurance to access resources, tools, and ongoing training

Create and implement marketing strategies to promote your agency and expand your client base

Requirements

Pass a background check

Suitable money management skills

Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build and grow a business

Sales-driven and goal-oriented attitude

Ability to manage your own schedule

Self-motivated and proactive in learning and development

Must obtain L&H and P&C licenses (we provide training and support)

Willingness to complete provided training on insurance knowledge and agency functions

Previous sales experience preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
