Our expertise lies in seamless installation services, and project management tailored to deliver outstanding results for any flooring project.We’re growing fast and looking for a driven, personable, and results-oriented Business Sales & Development professional to help expand our builder network, strengthen existing relationships, and drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and new business opportunities.
Position OverviewThe Business Sales & Development Representative will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key builder and designer accounts, and promoting Hillman Flooring & Design’s full range of products and services. This role combines outside sales, relationship management, and strategic business development to help shape the future growth of the company.Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive new business within the builder, remodel, and design markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, designers, and trade partners through regular in-person visits, calls, and follow-ups.
- Manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting and quoting to closing deals and ensuring project satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the design center, installation, and project management teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Track and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to identify new growth opportunities.
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and builder meetings to represent Hillman Flooring & Design professionally.
- Prepare detailed bids, proposals, and presentations customized for each client.
- Work closely with leadership to set revenue goals and measure progress through key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Utilize RFMS and Microsoft tools to manage pipelines, track communications, and report on sales performance.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the flooring, construction, or design industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and driven by results.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of flooring materials, installation processes, or homebuilding preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with RFMS or other flooring CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and general digital communication tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.
