Job Description

State Street Wealth Services seeks to enable wealth advisors and their investment managers to achieve better outcomes for their clients and themselves, and enable revenue growth across all areas of State Street.

State Street Wealth Services includes two operating businesses, Wealth Platforms and Wealth Custody. Wealth Platforms is comprised of Charles River Development (CRD) Wealth software, software services, and investment advisory.

With over $3 trillion in wealth related assets, CRD Wealth is a leading provider of investment technology for wealth managers, providing portfolio management, trading, rebalancing, compliance capabilities, and manager / sponsor connectivity. State Street is investing heavily in the business to drive its continued success in innovating and serving enterprise wealth manager client needs.

The Wealth Platforms business is seeking a Vice President, Strategic Execution to drive the growth and strategic advancement of the Wealth Platform business. This role will play a critical part in defining orchestrating the strategic planning process, leading high-impact strategic client initiatives, and helping build and scale the wealth management partnership ecosystem.

The VP will work closely with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Sales, Client Management, Finance, and Strategy to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans as well as support the successful execution of plans.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Play a leading role in defining the Wealth Platform’s growth strategy including  facilitating the annual and multi-year strategic planning process
  • Structure strategic priorities, growth initiatives, success metrics, budgets, and resource plans
  • Translate strategy into execution plans, milestones, and OKRs and track progress
  • Prepare executive-ready materials for leadership forums, QBRs, and planning sessions

Strategic Initiatives

  • Lead cross-functional strategic projects tied to platform growth and priority initiatives
  • Partner with Sales, Client Management, and Product on complex client engagements
  • Shape value propositions and coordinate internal delivery teams
  • Capture client insights to inform product strategy and investment priorities

Partnership Ecosystem Development

  • Support the development of the wealth partnership ecosystem with tech forward strategic partners that complement CRD Wealth’s capabilities
  • Assist with partnership business cases, commercial structuring, and approvals
  • Help manage ongoing partner relationships aligned to strategic goals
  • Monitor market and competitive trends to inform ecosystem strategy

Cross-Functional Leadership & Governance

  • Act as an integrator across teams to ensure alignment between strategy and execution
  • Establish governance, track delivery, and escalate risks or trade-offs
  • Partner with Finance to enhance business performance visibility

Qualifications & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, business development, or transformation roles
  • Experience in wealth management, fintech, or enterprise software preferred
  • Proven success driving complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Exposure to partnerships or ecosystem strategy a plus
  • Executive presence and strong business communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, structuring and decision making skills
  • Strong work-ethic with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines and willingness to jump into challenging situations or problems and drive to solutions

Salary Range:

$110,000 - $207,500 Annual
