Job Title: Commercial Operations Loan Closer Location: Johnston, RI 02919 Pay Rate: $26.38/hr (W2) Duration: 3-Month Contract Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Job Description: We are seeking a Commercial Operations Loan Closer to support Business Banking operations by ensuring complex commercial and C&I loans are accurately closed, documented, and booked in compliance with credit policies and federal regulations. This role is responsible for managing a pipeline of 25 30 transactions, conducting due diligence, clearing pre- and post-closing conditions, reconciling loan accounting records, and mitigating operational risk. The Loan Closer will collaborate closely with sales partners, legal counsel, and clients while serving as a compliance gatekeeper to ensure all regulatory and documentation requirements are met.
Required Qualifications:
1 3 years of experience in commercial/business lending operations
Strong knowledge of loan documentation, credit agreements, guarantees, and collateral
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
High School Diploma or GED required (Associate's degree preferred)
Experience with AFS and LaserPro preferred
