Business Support Specialist - Night Shift

Job Title: Business Support SpecialistLocation: Park Rapids, MNCompensation: $23.75-$24.25 per hour - paid weeklySchedule: Night ShiftJob Type: Temporary or Temp-to-hireAbout the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring an Operations Support Specialist for a leading food supplier located in Park Rapids, MN. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and want reliable hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit. Read below for more information!What You'll Do as a Business Support Specialist:

• Answer incoming calls, determine purpose and forward calls to the appropriate department
• Greet on-site visitors, determine nature of business and announce visitors to appropriate personnel
• Monitor visual access and issue passes when required
• Assist tour facilitator with name badges and proper PPE for visitors
• Maintain and update PPE for plant associates when needed
• Update security badges for employees and contractors
• Update crew schedules on a daily basis including vacation coverage, call-ins, and temporary job assignments
• Perform other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, faxing and collating

What You Need to Bring to the Business Support Specialist Role:

• High school diploma or GED and at least one year of clerical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bilingual in Spanish and English or willingness to learn
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Typing speed of 40+ words per minute
• Excellent people skills and communication
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work overtime when necessary for workload and absences
• Associates degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or similar field preferred
