Business System Analyst III

BSA - Business Systems Analyst III Duration: 6-9+ month contract NOTE: This position is not open for third party candidates. Please do not contact or submit. Our Direct Healthcare Client in Newark, NJ is seeking a strong candidate for a contract to hire role.Require experience and knowledge of XML, API, Integration. Some EDI will be beneficial also. Experience with writing technical requirements as TRD and business requirements as BRD documents. This position is responsible for analyzing, understanding and translating business needs into business/technical requirements. Leads and coordinates teams of other resources to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business requirements for medium to complex issues (quantity and magnitude).- Takes ownership of the analysis and understanding of medium to complex issues, and coordinates the documentation of business needs- Leads Business Requirements Gathering process, including the creation of deliverables- Leads and manages the process for identifying and recommending improvements; leads the verification and validation of requirements, obtaining approvals on solution requirements and traceability- Conducts detailed research- Coordinates analysis necessary to identify viable solution alternatives- Defines success criteria for projects- Follows the Company's business requirement's documentation process utilizing the appropriate tools- Creates and delivers work estimates to customer(s)- Creates and coordinates the creation of technical documents and high level solution designs- Provides input on the solution design, technical feasibility/limitations, performs Proof Of Concepts as required.- Coordinates with architecture, security and other IT areas to ensure the solution adheres to enterprise standards- Coordinates the development, testing and implementation of system specifications.- Works with the testing teams on developing automated test scripts/process- Provides consistent, accurate and timely communications to the stakeholders and project teams- Ensures appropriate transition to the operations team Education:- Bachelor's Degree preferred Knowledge:- Requires knowledge of system development life cycle and implementation methodologies- Requires excellence in structured query languages, or analysis techniques- Requires strong ability to apply structure to loosely defined complex problems- Demonstrates understanding of core business functions Desired Technical Skills:

• Solid documentation skills (able to write TRDs, Operational Support Plans, and other BSA deliverables).

Can do basic BSA type data analysis. Basic reporting knowledge will be helpful.
