Job Description

State of Location:

Wisconsin

Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and versatile Business Systems Analyst to serve as a liaison between multiple business units, the technology team, and vendors. You won't just gather requirements; you will help design the systems that fulfill them. We need someone who enjoys uncovering the "why" behind a business request and has the technical curiosity to figure out the "how."

In this role, you will document stakeholder requirements, analyze business processes, measure/monitor process efficiency, help design effective solutions, and manage the delivery of small projects. You will coordinate testing, training, implementation and communication efforts with vendors and multiple business groups. This is a business-facing and technology-facing role, requiring excellent communication and organizational skills to create alignment amongst multiple stakeholders. The goal is to improve efficiency and solve business problems while also optimizing and configuring technical solutions to meet the need. The position is fully remote with minimal travel requirements.

Join Ivy Rehab's dedicated team where you're not just an employee, but a valued teammate! Together, we provide world-class care in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA) services. Our culture promotes authenticity, inclusion, growth, community, and a passion for exceptional care for every patient.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand and document requirements, processes, workflows, and objectives.

  • Conduct thorough analyses of existing business systems, processes, and data to identify areas for improvement; map current and future state processes, and perform gap analyses as required.

  • Support technology teams in translating business requirements into technical designs for system enhancements, integrations, and/or new processes, and ensure that they are well-documented, easy to maintain, and right sized for the organization.

  • Manage the delivery of small projects, including documenting tasks, assigning due dates, ensuring ownership and accountability of team members to complete the work, and providing regular status updates to peers, leaders and other key stakeholders.

  • Engage with key business stakeholders, based on their role in the organization, to identify proper testing and rollout strategies, in addition to creating and disseminating clear and concise communications to hundreds and possibly thousands of employees.

  • Assist stakeholders with testing system changes to ensure they meet business requirements and are free of defects, including defining and documenting test cases and in some cases, executing tests.

  • Understand and enforce Ivy's Change Management process for software and infrastructure changes to Production.

  • Create knowledge base articles, user guides, and process documentation (especially diagrams and workflows).

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, including software development experience utilizing basic principles of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and elements of any methodologies or principles like Agile, Scrum, DevOps, etc.

  • Experience as a translator with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice-versa.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to probe and ask clarifying questions to remove ambiguity and validate assumptions.

  • Proficiency in business process modeling and documentation is desired.

  • Project Management skills like organizing, structuring, and reporting on tasks and deliverables are required; must be able to manage multiple tasks/priorities concurrently and pivot when requirements and/or priorities shift.

  • Practical knowledge of ITIL framework and ITSM processes.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all functions, levels, and technical abilities.

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve project goals.

  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint are required, as well as Smartsheet, Jira and Confluence; Power BI is desired but not required.

  • Experience working for a healthcare provider is desired but not required.

  • Experience with Workday HRIS and Financials is desired but not required.
