Job Description

Under general supervision, uses knowledge and skills obtained through experience and training to support Finance department initiatives, operational improvement efforts, AI enablement activities, and enterprise project execution across financial reporting, controllership, and related finance functions.

This role serves as a key partner in advancing Finance priorities related to financial reporting, close execution, process governance, data quality, technology enablement, and business transformation.

Working closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, the role helpsidentifyprocess pain points, assess root causes, evaluate business impacts, and recommend practical solutions.

The position plays an active role inidentifyingopportunities to improve processes,leveragetechnology, and enhance organizational efficiency.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, andsolutions-oriented, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and tactical execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • AI Enablement, Financial Reporting Initiatives & Project Management 

  • Supports AI enablement initiatives and adherence to enterprise frameworks, procedures, and standards related to AI-enabled tools and business processes.

  • Partners with business leaders, technology teams, and risk partners to support AI governance, adoption, and operational alignment.

  • Supports operational priorities across Finance, including financial reporting, close, controls, data, reconciliation, and process improvement workstreams.

  • Identifies, tracks, and escalates key risks, issues, dependencies, reporting impacts, and operational considerations.

  • Maintainsaccurateandtimelyproject documentation.

  • Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements, define deliverables,monitorprogress, and drive accountability across initiatives.

  • Utilizes tools tomaintainvisibilityintoworkstreams and support reporting needs.

  • Supports governance activities, leadership reporting, and execution follow-through.

Operational Improvement & Innovation

  • Identifiesopportunities to improve financial reporting processes, operational efficiency, communication, and workflows through optimization, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities.

  • Evaluates business challenges byidentifyingprocess pain points, root causes, and stakeholder impacts.

  • Supports AI engagement, communication, training, and educational initiatives.

  • Gathersfeedback, metrics, and business insights to support continuous improvement.

  • Researchesemerging technologies and industry trends.

  • Recommends improvements to reporting, tracking, documentation, reconciliation, and workflow processes.

Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership Support

  • Partners with Finance leaders, business owners, project teams, and stakeholders.

  • Builds strong working relationships across stakeholder groups to enable collaboration, transparency, and alignment.

  • Facilitates meetings, workshops, and working sessions.

  • Develops executive presentations, communications, and briefing materials.

  • Supports change management efforts through stakeholder engagement and communication planning.

  • Serves asa central pointof coordination across stakeholders and initiatives.

Finance Department & Organizational Support

  • Operates as a highly flexible and collaborative member of the Finance organization.

  • Contributes across financial reporting, controllership, operations, technology enablement, process governance, and transformation efforts.

  • Demonstrates initiative, ownership, sound judgment, and a proactive approach.

  • Applies organizational policies, procedures, and risk management principles.

  • Maintains awareness of Finance priorities, enterprise initiatives, regulatory considerations, industry trends, and emerging technologies.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Operational improvement, process optimization, change management, and organizational effectiveness concepts.

  • AI-enabled tools, automation capabilities, and emerging technologies.

  • Business operations, stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and reporting practices.

  • Risk management principles, governance frameworks, internal controls, and reporting controls preferred.

  • Financial reporting, accounting operations, close processes, financial services operations, products, and regulatory environments preferred.

  • Data analysis, performance metrics, and reporting concepts preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s: Accounting, Bachelor’s: Business Administration
