Star Noodle located on the ocean in Lahaina is now open at its new location on Front Street next door to its sister restaurant Aloha Mixed Plate. Star Noodle is an award-winning restaurant for over a decade offering fresh noodles, sake cocktails and Asian-inspired share plates. Star Noodle continues to be one of Maui's most popular eateries, as well as a great place to work with a fabulous view. We are seeking highly motivated and service-oriented staff to join our team! • Has experience working in customer service and/or the food service industry
• Can work a flexible schedule including:*

• Has a reputation for giving great service to guests and coworkers
• Is enthusiastic about sharing our exceptional service standards with our guests
• Can maintain a pleasant smile and demeanor throughout the shift
• Can handle multiple tasks at one time, is efficient and moves with the proper urgency required by the business
• Is self motivated, especially under pressure
• Communicates Aloha in person and over the phone
• Has good problem solving skills
• Is able to pass and practice the TiPS training course

Performance Expectations:

• Makes eye contact and greets guests with authentic enthusiasm each time they are in contact with a guest
• Treats customers and co-workers with courtesy and respect
• Answers the phone with a smile and takes to-go orders as needed
• Can lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Can communicate effectively to both customers and co-workers during busy periods
• Clears and cleans tables in an orderly, quiet and efficient fashion that meets our standard within 2 minutes as a consistent standard
• Restocks supplies and dishes throughout the shift
• Communicates to supervisors when help is needed to maintain customer service
• Is knowledgeable of the menu and able to answer guests questions
• Helps hostess seat guests as needed
• Helps food runner deliver food as needed
• Helps servers deliver beverages when available
• Positively responds to requests for assistance from co-workers and guests
• Takes initiative to help in any area of the restaurant when slow
