Summary of Responsibilities:
Powering progress through strategic supply chain practices. At ATC, our Supply Chain team plays a vital role in meeting the electrical power needs of more than 5 million customers.

Essential Responsibilities:
What you'll do
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, establish procurement plans, and process RFQs.
Communicate ATC's expectations to suppliers and ensure that the selected suppliers meet all of ATC's requirements and expectations.
Ensure that materials, equipment, and services are procured on time, within budget, and according to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Manage small-to-medium spend/risk categories, including need identification, sourcing, contract negotiation, risk assessments, and supplier performance evaluations.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, providing effective issue and conflict resolution to support project and organizational goals.
Create and maintain purchase orders and change orders in ATC's system; onboard new suppliers and ensure supplier information remains accurate and current.
Drive and report efficiencies, cost savings, and risk reduction.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within Supply Chain and cross-functionally.
10-15% travel to other ATC offices/properties, suppliers, and industry conferences.
What you bring
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related discipline (advanced degree preferred).
3+ years of experience as a Buyer.
Excellent communication and relationship building abilities, supported by strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract management skills.
Process improvement experience with strong financial and market analysis capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a services, construction, or non-manufacturing, project-driven environment.
Exposure to a regulated utility environment or experience working within a highly regulated or compliance driven setting.
Proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics.
CPSM and/or Lean Six Sigma certification.

The targeted base pay for this position is $77,400 to $90,200 annually. * Base pay is one component of our comprehensive total rewards package which includes an annual incentive bonus, employer-sponsored pension plan, 401(k) match, HSA contribution, life & disability insurance, health care benefits, generous time off plans, flexible work arrangements, and much more.
- The pay range is a general guideline. Employment offers are evaluated individually and consider qualifications, experience, academic achievements, internal equity, and business needs.
