[Position]Buyer[About Our Client]A global leader of energy solutions and provides new values to customers[Job Summary]Department: SCMImmediate Supervisor: SCM ManagerNearest subordinate: Shared Service StaffDeputy: N/AGeneral PurposeWith minimal supervision, purchase items, materials or services of a technical nature customized to company specification and delivery requirements. Expedite work, vendors, and may locate/promote new vendor sources.[Job Description]- Purchase and expedite for timely delivery of material parts and services as required.- Vendor selection may include visiting vendor facilities.- Confer with other departments as needed for technical assistance in resolving purchasing issues.- Evaluate invoice charges as required.- Coordinate purchasing related activities involving routing, shipping and receiving of parts and materials.- Maintain appropriate records including encumbrance and company owned tooling stored or used by vendors.[Qualifications]Knowledge and Skills Desired- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business or equivalent education is required.- Proficient/Advanced skills with MS Excel and ERP (SAP)- 1+ years' experience as a buyer for a manufacturing company.- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting- Understanding SOX requirements and internal controls- Strong attention to detail- Consistently able to meet reporting deadlines- Ability to problem solve and work independently- Strict work ethic- Strong leadership skills- Language skill is most preferred, communicating with customers[What's On Offer]- Salary 55-60k - Visa Sponsor- Relocation Support 2k 1. 401K upto 6% match after 6 month join.2.
