Job Description
Allow me to introduce you to Kutol Products Company, we are a thriving hand soap and hand sanitizer manufacturer operating out of our Silver LEED Certified facility in Sharonville, Ohio. We process and package both cosmetic and drug formulas that work with our proprietary dispensing systems across the country and beyond. We are currently seeking a Buyer to join us in our purpose of providing “Clean Hands for a Healthy World.”

At Kutol the Buyer is a critical role in Kutol’s manufacturing plant and is responsible for sourcing, selecting, and negotiating with suppliers. This role requires experience with ERP in a manufacturing setting and will have high emphasis on managing supply chains as they relate to on-time fulfillment, quality standards, and inventory strategies. The Buyer will collaborate cross-functionally within the organization to successfully achieve the operational goals of the plant.
The varied duties of this role allow team members to grow their skills, responsibilities of this position include:
- Review MRP requirements daily to ensure timely ordering of materials that help achieve the plant manufacturing schedule.
- Manage the end-of-the-end purchase order process, from creation and review to final payment.
- Foster, develop, and maintain successful, mutually benefitting supplier relationships.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels that align with Kutol’s inventory strategy and Days Inventory Outstanding metrics (DIO).
- Support the Receiving process to ensure all necessary documentation is received from the Supplier prior to delivery.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to arrive at the most cost-effective means to procure assigned goods. May involve MRO, non-stock, and Kanban-based ordering processes.
- RFQ Management
- Work in tandem with Quality to establish specification and quality standards for suppliers and goods.
- Support the Quality Department in leading Material Defect and CAPA investigations with assigned suppliers while ensuring proper communication with internal parties & departments.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or delivery standards.
- Assist department leadership in assessing and mitigating risk within supply chains while helping develop contingencies.
- Monitor and report on supplier performance trends.
- Work with Warehouse staff and Accounting to correct receiving and invoicing variances.
- Use data and data analysis to support and feed department dashboard metrics.
Requirements
Core competencies/Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years related experience, or equivalent related work experience.
- Strong familiarity with ERP/MRP software and logic.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 Applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

Benefits

Salary for qualified candidates will be $74K annually. A review of your performance will be made after three months in the position, and performance and compensation reviewed on your one-year anniversary.
