Respiratory Therapist Crt/Rrt (Cardiopulmonary) - Ft/72

Description

The Respiratory Therapist will:

• Use Respiratory Assessment throughout all areas of the hospital when caring for patients.
• Follow the AARC Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Promote compassionate, efficient, cost effective quality patient care, while demonstrating qualities consistent for the role.
• Incorporate teaching principles into all practices.
• Show use of written and verbal communication skills in all aspects of the role.

Requirements

• Completion of accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Vermont Respiratory Care Practitioner license
• Registration or Certification with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• One (1) year clinical experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (preferred)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certificate (preferred)
• Two (2) years' clinical experience, including emergency care (preferred)
• Experience with outpatient testing, i.e., PFT, stress testing, cardiac monitors (preferred)

Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $35.00 - $42.00 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
