Machine Technician (Bilingual Chinese)

We are seeking an experienced Machine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with various injection molding machine models and a solid understanding of plastic product production processes. This role requires a proactive, independent professional with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and Repair:
• • Perform regular maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
  • Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools and power tools
  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on molds and machinery
• Operation and Adjustment:
• • Operate and adjust injection molding machines to ensure optimal performance
  • Follow production processes and quality standards to ensure high-quality output
• Troubleshooting:
• • Identify and resolve issues with machinery in a timely manner to minimize downtime
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with molding machines and molds
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to solve complex problems
  • Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and solve technical problems
• Safety and Compliance:
• • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
• Documentation and Reporting:
• • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
  • Provide regular reports on machine performance and issues to supervisors
• Communication:
• • Communicate effectively with HQ in China
  • Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed

Requirements

• • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of proven experience as a machine technician, specifically with injection molding machines (Haitian, Tongtian, and Guangsu are a plus)
  • Solid understanding of plastic product production processes
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may require climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces
  • Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is preferred
• Preferred Skills:
• • Experience with specific machinery or equipment used in biotechnology or diagnostics industries
  • Knowledge of industry-specific safety standards and regulations
  • Plastic injection machine experience is a plus
