Job Description

Cabinet Designer

We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Designer who is passionate about creating functional, beautiful spaces while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This is an onsite position that combines design and sales, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with clients from the initial consultation through project completion.

The ideal candidate will have experience designing cabinetry for residential projects and be comfortable bridging the gap between semi-custom and custom cabinetry.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet with homeowners, builders, contractors, and designers to discuss project goals and design needs.
  • Design custom and semi-custom cabinetry solutions for kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, entertainment centers, closets, and other living spaces.
  • Create detailed 2D and 3D designs using Cabinet Vision or Microvellum.
  • Prepare estimates, proposals, and product specifications.
  • Guide customers through cabinet styles, finishes, hardware, and material selections.
  • Work closely with customers throughout the design, sales, and ordering process.
  • Coordinate with production, vendors, and installation teams to ensure projects are completed successfully.
  • Manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to generate repeat and referral business.

Qualifications:

  • 2–5+ years of cabinet design experience.
  • Proficiency with Cabinet Vision or Microvellum.
  • Experience designing custom and semi-custom cabinetry.
  • Strong sales and customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and architectural drawings.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
