Overview

We're seeking a Cable QA/Documentation Technician to own quality assurance and documentation for a large-scale data center cabling installation. This role is critical to preventing "installed but not accepted" bottlenecks by keeping documentation and QA in sync with the installation schedule.

Responsibilities:

Own and maintain DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) documentation using client-provided templates

Track documentation phase/milestone completion in parallel with physical installation

Perform quality assurance checks on completed cable installations before acceptance

Identify and flag "installed but not accepted" gaps before they become schedule bottlenecks

Coordinate with the site lead and cable technicians to verify work meets documentation and QA standards

Report project and QA status to direct management on-site

Qualifications:

Experience with DCIM tools/platforms and structured cabling documentation

Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset

Ability to work cross-functionally with installation crews and project management

Experience in data center or telecom cabling QA is strongly preferred

Organized, process-driven approach to tracking documentation against milestones
