CAD Engineer - HVAC Manufacturing (On-site)
Location: Humble, Texas

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Engineer to support our Engineering team. This role focuses on developing accurate CAD and 3D models for HVAC products and plays a key part in product development and manufacturing support. This position will require a daily presence Monday through Friday at our Humble facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CAD models and 3D assemblies for HVAC products and components
- Produce detailed part, assembly, and fabrication drawings
- Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) within the company's ERP system
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, procurement, and other cross-functional teams
- Ensure all drawings and models meet industry standards and internal quality requirements
- Support engineering change processes and documentation updates
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field
- Two years of experience in CAD modeling and drafting
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar
- Experience using ERP systems for BOM creation and management
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Experience in the HVAC or mechanical manufacturing industry

Work Environment:
Office: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an office environment. Occasionally, the employee will be exposed to a warehouse environment and will be required to wear appropriate PPE. Warehouse: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to type or dial, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position requires computer use. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
