Their technology is built to perform in the harshest environments-from aerospace and missile defense to electronic warfare and advanced medical systems.Job DescriptionThis position will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:Participating in engineering design review preparation and providing design inputs to engineering teams.Creating detailed designs and drawings for new products, fabrication fixtures and test fixtures.Contributing to the conceptual design of new products in collaboration with engineering teams.Developing and maintaining engineering documentation packages.Providing technical support to project teams from the design phase through product build.Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and applicable standards.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantA successful candidate will have:Minimum of 4 years of relevant design or drafting experience.Proficiency with CAD software, including SolidWorks.Experience with Creo, AutoCAD and/or Inventor preferred.Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.High School Diploma or GED required.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional engineering teams.Ability to meet requirements associated with U.S. export-controlled technologies (ITAR/EAR).What's on OfferCompetitive salary and potential for salary growth
