Mozz is many things. Mostly, it’s Italian. With a touch of Newport sprinkled in. We are an upscale cheesemaking facility, eatery, pizzeria al taglio, cafe and market that opened in Newport, June of 2022. We are looking for passionate individuals to join our team who share our excitement about all things food and specialities.

This role involves interaction with our guests in our open kitchen design and you must be present and willing to learn. This is not just another job. We are fueled by connection. By sharing our passions with our community through food. We welcome you to enjoy what you do with us.

You will have the opportunity to work in a professionally run kitchen with a passionate culinary team and have the opportunity to learn and master a wide range of techniques. We offer consistent hours, flexible scheduling, and competitive hourly rates based on experience.

Background & Qualifications:

• To be considered, candidates must be flexible and able to work days, nights, weekends and some holidays, as needed.
• Year round availability preferred
• Ability to learn and follow recipes
• Ability to learn and prep for the day
• Ability to execute service
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be comfortable in an open concept kitchen where there is guest interaction
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to follow directions and procedures, effective time management and organization skills.
• Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
