Job Description
Calibration Technologist and Technician Windsor Locks CTContract 1st Shift, 5/40 Pay Rate: $45.46/Hr.Benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401kPosition Summary: Calibration Technologist and Technician
- Provide technical leadership and engineering support for the Metrology Laboratory.*
- Ensure accurate, reliable, and timely calibration services supporting production, testing, and laboratory operations across the site.
- Develop, maintain, and improve calibration procedures and standards.*
- Provide technical support for day-to-day calibration operations.*
- Ensure calibration activities comply with applicable quality requirements and standards.*
- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and systems.*
- Train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to metrology technicians.*
- Lead automation, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.*
- Support the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of measurement systems.*
- Partner with production, test, laboratory, and engineering teams to address calibration and measurement needs.*
- Identify opportunities to improve laboratory processes, equipment performance, and overall service delivery.
- United States Citizenship is required.*
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.*
- Ability to provide technical leadership and support to technicians and cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field preferred.*
- Experience in metrology, calibration, instrumentation, measurement systems, or a related technical discipline preferred.*
- Experience with calibration procedures, laboratory equipment, or measurement systems is highly desirable.
