A+Derr is seeking an energetic and dedicated call center Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic call center team. In this role, you will be the frontline ambassador for our company, providing exceptional support to our diverse customer base. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will drive positive interactions, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. This position offers an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced environment that values proactive problem-solving and clear communication while supporting multiple locations within Indiana and Kentucky.
A day in the life...
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism, courtesy, and enthusiasm, addressing customer inquiries promptly and effectively
- Assist customers with scheduling, product information and billing questions, to ensure a seamless experience
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions through data entry and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems
- Follow established phone etiquette standards and standard operating procedures to create positive customer interactions and resolve issues efficiently
- Support sales initiatives by identifying customer needs and promoting relevant products or services when appropriate
- Conduct analysis of customer feedback and call data to identify trends and suggest improvements for service quality
- Our call center is a regionalized call center that takes calls for several businesses. This results in being able to work in a fast-paced environment that is continually evolving to meet the needs of several diverse businesses within the HVAC, plumbing, and electrical industry.
Skills to be successful in the role...
- Excellent communication skills in English is required
- Proven experience in call center environments or customer support roles with strong phone etiquette
- Strong data entry skills with high typing speed of 50+ wpm and accuracy; familiarity with Microsoft Office applications is preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
- Outbound calling experience is advantageous for follow-up or sales outreach efforts
- Solid understanding of computer systems, CRM tools, and basic analysis skills to interpret customer data effectively
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility and adaptability to multiple company needs
- Ownership mentality to ensure value is brought to customers at all touch points
Experience Requirements
- 3+ years of call center experience
