Job Description
Apple Tree Learning Centers invites dedicated individuals to join us as Camp Counselors in Stowe and Morrisville, Vermont.
Job Snapshot:
Pay: This full-time opportunity offers compensation ranging from $18.50 to $25.00 per hour, with rates determined by experience and education.
Schedule: Camp Counselors work onsite from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Overtime is available and frequently required, providing additional earning opportunities during the summer.

Who We're Looking For:
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to attend and complete Lifeguard Certification (paid for by Apple Tree)
- Ability to complete mandated Reporting and CPR/First Aid training
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with a diverse population of children, including those with varying needs
- Flexible, adaptable, and collaborative attitude
- Enjoys spending time outdoors and working as part of a team
- Fun, calming, and positive personality
Experience, degrees, and other credentials in the field are preferred.
The Work You'll Do:
As a Camp Counselor at Apple Tree Learning Centers, you will spend your days developing and leading outdoor-based activities designed to engage and inspire school-aged children. You will oversee a diverse group of campers, including those with varying needs, and ensure that each child is included and supported throughout the day. Your responsibilities will include curriculum creation, collaboration with fellow staff members, and the maintenance of a positive and calming environment. You will participate in required training, including lifeguard certification, mandated reporting, and CPR/First Aid, all supported by the organization. Each day brings the opportunity to foster growth, learning, and memorable experiences for the children in your care.
